Surgery
Dr. Peter Sinor has had many years of successful veterinary surgical experience for the pets in the River Ridge, Harahan, Elmwood and Jefferson areas. Our new facility has a state-of-the-art surgical center with the latest tools and equipment in veterinary medicine. The experience of our veterinarians and staff, coupled with our advanced diagnostic and monitoring equipment, means that your constant companion will be in good hands at River Ridge Vet.
Our new facility has a complete in-clinic laboratory so that bloodwork can be run prior to surgical procedures. Our doctor highly recommends bloodwork to help ensure the animal’s organ function is normal, so that anesthesia may be administered as safely as possible. Dr. Sinor can also administer pain preventatives prior to any surgery, to keep each pet under our care comfortable while undergoing the procedure. During and after surgery, each patient is constantly monitored for heart rate levels, blood pressure, and oxygen levels using our advanced surgical equipment.
River Ridge Veterinary Clinic performs many procedures ranging from a routine neuter or spay, to more complex orthopedic surgeries. Some of the common surgeries we perform include:
- Spay/neuter
- Laceration repair
- Declaw
- Mass/tumor removal
- Amputation
- GI exploratory procedure
This is not a complete listing of our surgeries, so if your pet is in need of a procedure not listed, just give us a call!
